Below are some cool stuff I really wanted to mention 😀 (though not super important).
My custom 404 error page
You can see my custom 404 error page by going to some url under this domain that does not exist, e.g. zzalbert.com/present-king-of-France/. In addition to the regular 404 error message, the page contains a philosophy quote about "existence" or "non-existence," which is randomly selected every time the page is accessed.
My logo
The favicon you see on this website is my personal logo, which I designed in 2021. I used a squirrel because my then school (CKHS, Taipei) is known to have many of them—so many that your snacks get stolen if you leave them in the classroom without hiding them properly. Turns out these rodents also secretly run the university I go to, i.e. UofT, which makes my relation with them even stronger; see this reddit post. (Just kidding 😅 but the part about them stealing snacks at my high school is real.)
Most importantly, I designed that squirrel in my logo as a "tessellation tile." You can see how by hovering your mouse over the image below, or simply click on it if your are on a phone.
